Andrew Jones is an experienced photographer and has been taking landscape and wildlife photographs over the last 18 years. He initially concentrated on wildlife photography, particularly whilst travelling to many destinations around the world. This has included some of the great scenes that the natural world can provide, from polar bears wandering over the ice flows of the arctic, the concentrations of big game on the savannahs of Africa, to the abundant and tame wildlife found in the icy environment of Antarctica.

After visiting some of the world's great wilderness areas, across all 7 continents, his photographic subjects have grown to favour natural landscapes. He has visited some of the best and well known landscape photograph destinations around the world, which have included the mountainous Torres del Paine in South America, the striking barren landscapes of Iceland, and the baking Red Centre of Australia.

One of Andrew Jones' favourite photographic themes is the combination of both wildlife and landscape photography in one photograph, by trying to create images of wildlife that illustrate the essence and character of the environment in which the wildlife can typically be found.

As well as visiting many destinations around the world, the varied and stunning scenery of Andrew Jones' home country of Great Britain has not been ignored. Particularly its coastline, which provides some of the best scenery one can find. Based in the county of Hampshire, much local photography has concentrated on the south coast and the downland of England.
