Andrew Jones is an experienced photographer and has been taking landscape and wildlife photographs for more than 20 years. He initially concentrated on wildlife photography and has travelled to many destinations around the world in search of some of the great scenes that the natural world can provide, from polar bears wandering over the ice flows of the arctic, the concentrations of big game on the savannahs of Africa, to the abundant and tame wildlife found in the icy environment of Antarctica.

After visiting some of the world's great wilderness areas, across all 7 continents, his photographic subjects have grown to favour natural landscapes. He has visited many wilderness landscape destinations around the world, which have included the mountainous Torres del Paine in South America, the striking barren landscapes of Iceland, and the baking Red Centre of Australia.

One of Andrew Jones' favourite photographic aims is to combine both wildlife and landscape photography in one image, by trying to create photographs of wildlife that illustrate the essence and character of the environment in which the animals can typically be found.

As well as visiting many destinations around the world, the varied and photogenic scenery of Andrew Jones' home country of Great Britain has provided much inspiration, particularly its striking coastline.
